Are you in need of some new shots for your Instagram profile? Team up with a Dohoku Local for an amazing private photoshoot in Biei! You'll head to some quiet places in the hills that only the locals know that are just perfect for photoshoots. You'll hit up two spots where your photographer can take as many shots as you like. Don't worry if you're not sure about posing - they are happy to direct you!
After having fun with the photoshoot, we'll head back to central Biei for a drink and a snack in a local cafe. If you'd like to continue the photoshoot at the cafe, that can certainly be done!
This is a great tour for couples, friends, online personalities or just solo travellers who want to record some fun memories of their trip. There is no cap on the number of photos you'll be sent, but you can expect about 100 ~ 200 shots. The photos can be sent to you as unedited JPGs to touch up as you like or you can leave the editing to your Dohoku Local!
Note that we won't go to any popular sightseeing spots for this photoshoot (e.g. Blue Pond, flower meadows etc). This is because these locations can be a bit crowded, making it hard to get good portraits. However, if you have a particular scene in mind, don't hesitate to let us know!

Please check the special terms for this experience as below.
1. If you are not using a rental car: Max 3 people. If you are using a rental car: Up to 5 people possible.
2. If you are travelling with children aged 6 and below, you must use your own rental car. By Japanese law, children under 6 must have a car seat and the photographer is unfortunately not able to provide one for you. Unfortunately, if you are a family with children under 6 not using a rental car, we will have to turn down your request.

We know, it's boring.
But if you'd like to join an experience, there are some particulars.
We appreciate your taking the time to read this before booking!
1. Please confirm the special terms for this tour before booking regarding maximum number of participants and the minimum age. 2. Bookings are accepted a minimum of 3 days in advance. Unfortunately we cannot accept bookings later than this. 3. Please let us know if your photoshoot is for a surprise or a special occasion (proposal, anniversary, birthday etc). We can arrange special gifts or props (e.g. flower bouquets, cake, balloons) for an additional fee. 4. Please pay for any parking or entry fees in cash on the day for any location you have requested as part of the photoshoot. 5. Spectator-only participants are accepted, but we cannot offer any discount on the experience price. 6. Your photos will be edited and retouched (skin smoothed, colour adjustment etc). If you have any special editing requests (e.g. removing acne, softening age lines etc) then please let us know. Note that we cannot grant complex editing requests (e.g. photoshopping out crowds, changing cloudy skies to sunny skies etc). 7. Your photos will be sent to you as .zip file data, via a file share link. If you do not have a computer, we will arrange for the photos to be sent to you a different way. The download link will be available for 30 days before being deleted. We cannot arrange photography prints for you, but you may use the data to arrange prints for your personal use in your home country. 8. The photographer retains the copyright for his work, though you have permission to use the photos for whatever personal use you like without crediting him (social media, personal prints for your home etc). However, please do not use the photos for commercial purposes or to make a personal profit (e.g. for use on mugs or t-shirts to sell to the general public). 9. Aggressive or threatening behaviour towards the interpreter and / or photographer will not be tolerated. 10. The participant accepts that they bear responsibility for any accident or injury, except for those caused by negligence or poor behaviour on the part of the photographer or the interpreter. 11. If there is any damage to the photographer's equipment caused by the participant's poor behaviour (e.g. grabbing and dropping the photographer's camera, pushing over the photographer's tripod), they will be held liable for the full cost of its replacement. 12. This tour can only be booked via Paypal as the photographer requires a deposit for his services. 13. We reserve the right to cancel the reservation on the spot with no refund given if any of the T&C are breached. 14. Cancellation Policy: Full refund if cancelled by you, the participant, more than 24 hours before the experience. 100% cancellation fee if cancelled within 24 hours of the experience. Unfortunately we do not accept illness or injury as mitigating circumstances. If we have to cancel the experience due to unforeseen circumstances on Dohoku Local's end, a full refund will be given.
